Though we all look forward to copious amounts of candy, a slightly more sinister Halloween tradition, smashing pumpkins, is the inspiration for this shot. Pumpkins can take hours to carve. They’re a time for family bonding and offer as much opportunity for self-expression as the costumes we wear. However, like this shot, they’re often gone in a flash. Hiding behind their cowls and clown costumes, hoodlums stalk the neighborhood waiting to pounce on poor ol’ Jack. Don’t let this macabre pumpkin massacre ruin your Halloween. Join the mass Jack-O-Lantern murder, but without the mess.

Ingredients

1/3 oz. Kahlua

1/3 oz. Baileys

1/3 oz. Goldschlagger

Shake all ingredients together with ice. Strain into shot glass. Serve chilled.
