Sparkly Pop Punkers Broadside Return to San Antonio

Returning to San Antonio for the first time since February’s tour with Silverstein, the shimmery pop-punk heartthrobs that make up Broadside touch down for a show at Alamo City Music Hall on Friday, November 23.

The band’s sugar sweet pop vibes are downright infectious even for folks who don’t necessarily get down with bubbly melodies and feel-good jams (ahem, me). I hate most of the music in this genre, but I think my mood elevated just a pinch after throwing “Paradise” on while writing this.

This will be the last tour before they return to the studio for a new album next year. For a genre that can be downright annoying, these dudes know how to put together well-written music that’s danceable and full of interesting dynamic to draw listeners deeper than the pop melodies.
