After a renovation that cost more than $100 million, the new AT&T Center was open for business Sunday as the San Antonio Spurs beat the Detroit Pistons 96 to 92 in the preseason home opener.
And Kawhi Leonard is already tearing up the floor — in a good way.
He scored 21 points in 28 a minutes, the San Antonio Express-News reported.
There are just two games left in the preseason — October 20 against the Phoenix Suns and October 23 against the Houston Rockets — before the real deal gets underway. Both of those games will be played at the AT&T Center.
The Spurs open the season on October 28 against the Oklahoma Thunder in Oklahoma.
