Stay Current with the Pick of the Day: The Amazing Acro-Cats

The Amazing Acro-Cats

It’s said that handling difficult to manage situations is “like herding cats,” but what would running a cat circus be like? Near impossible, one would think. Internationally recognized animal behavior savant Samantha Martin will prove otherwise when she brings The Amazing Acro-Cats to the Josephine to entertain and inform with tricks and stunts that might daunt the cleverest of dogs. The holiday-themed show features former shelter cats jumping through wreathes, riding skateboards, and navigating parallel ropes with balls, along with a special appearance by The Rock Cats, the world’s only house cat musical ensemble. A portion of the proceeds benefit Alamo Area Partners for Animal Welfare, who will be on hand with adoptable cats hoping to join your home for the holidays (and furrever). $12-$20; 2:30pm Sun, Dec 2; Josephine Theatre, 339 W Josephine, (210) 734-4646, josephinetheatre.org.
