Much to the disappointment of college students, modern science has yet to figure out how to make money, or a college education grow on trees. In turn, students must do things the old fashion way, and apply for financial aid.
The task itself is tedious, important, and time sensitive. That may be why Student Aid San Antonio, an organization that offers financial aid application assistance for college students, is offering their services on April 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at: cafécollege, KIPP: Un Mundo Dual Language Academy, and BiblioTech to help students apply for financial aid.
Those that complete their application by May 1 will be eligible for “Priority Processing”, which ensures that they will have their financial aid award before the Fall semester.
According to a press release, students planning to attend one of the Alamo Colleges are especially reminded to complete their financial aid applications now. Meeting the May 1 deadline allows students to maximize their aid eligibility.
By getting your financial aid application done now, you won’t waste any valuable “procrastination time” that could be better spent right before midterms.
