For her MFA thesis exhibition, University of Texas at San Antonio grad student Sarah Fox employs collage and smoky graphite to meditate on loss and absence. Drawing from “the history animals have as stand-ins for people in morals, tales and fables,” the solo show combines images both humorous and heartbreaking while blurring lines between children and pets.
