Sustainable Skills Series: Spring Food Preservation

When: Sat., March 7, 1-4:30 p.m. 2015

Students will learn about creating a sustainable pantry by using what is in season and preserving our local organic harvest in several different methods, including a water-bath canning method, a pickling method and preservation in alcohol. Students will go home with items preserved in the class.
