The Briscoe's Fall photographic exhibition features seventy-two dramatic images by legendary photographer Laura Wilson as she explores a West defined by diverse communities outside the suburban middle-class. This exhibition introduces us to worlds that are framed equally by beauty and violence, reflecting the artist’s challenge to today’s homogenized America. Wilson’s subjects range from legendary West Texas cattle ranches to impoverished Plains Indian reservations to lavish border-town cotillions. The exhibition is free with Museum admission.
