When: Wed., Dec. 11, 7-9 p.m. 2019
For one night only, you will journey into the interior of Mexico to learn about traditional tamale making techniques. In this hands-on class, you will make four different types of tamales including chicken tamales with green chile-tomatillo sauce, pork guajillo tamales, bean, chile and cotija cheese tamales and dulce tamales. The menu will be paired with a mistletoe margarita. So, gather all your friends and celebrate the holidays San Antonio style. Instructors for the event will be the Botanical Garden Culinary Team. The event is 21 years and up.
