The Elephant Man

When: Sundays, 3-5:30 p.m. Continues through March 18

The Elephant Man is an award-winning play by Bernard Pomerance based on the real-life experiences of John Merrick, who lived from 1862-1890. Born with extreme disfigurements, Merrick struggles to be accepted as a man and not a “freak.” The play touches on acceptance, grace, humor, bigotry and the desire to be like everyone else in spite of what faces him on a daily basis.
