Perhaps your dad has been so busy running around this year, working, taking care of the yard, watching football etc. that he hasn't had enough time to keep up with his beard. It only takes a few days for beards to get out of hand, so a busy dad can can grow himself into a mess.
Thankfully, the folks at
Sporting District (302 Pearl Pkwy., 210-223-1889) are offering a
special one-day-only offer to help clean-up Pops. On Sunday, June 21, the company is offering free hair cuts and beard trims to all fathers between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. The company will also be serving beers from
Alamo Beer Co. Donations will be accepted and will benefit
Children of Fallen Patriots, a charity that provides college scholarships to children who have lost their fathers in combat.
The event is first-come, first-serve, so make sure to come early!
