The wacky parking of the white Chevy Impala was reported early Saturday morning near a stream at the local zoo.
"THE (VEHICLE) IS HALF WAY OFF THE BRIDGE," the report screams in all caps.
While the police report was cut and dry, the zoo decided to take advantage of the bizarre incident – especially due to the make of the car.
Over the weekend someone apparently attempted to drop off this “Impala” at the zoo. As a reminder San Antonio Zoo does not take in animals (including Impalas). If you find an animal in need of assistance we suggest you call our friends at Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation, Inc @wrrtx, a local non-profit that specializes in this. Also, in general the zoo train tracks and bridges are not made for vehicles. Please drive safely and stay on proper streets. This car is awaiting pick up from our friends with San Antonio Park Police.
