Happy birthday, Old Man River Walk.

The legendary Tim Duncan turns 40 today, celebrating his birthday after the Spurs decisively swept the Memphis Grizzlies Sunday afternoon to move on to the NBA Western Conference Semifinals.

The Spurs trounced the Grizzlies 116-95 to sweep the series 4-0.

In 19 seasons with the Spurs, Duncan has been part of five championship teams and has easily earned a spot in the Basketball Hall of Fame. The admittedly dorky legend — and Spurs captain — continues to chip away at the record book as the Spurs work toward the race for seis.

With their win yesterday, the Spurs will have a good week of rest while the Dallas Mavericks and Oklahoma City Thunder finish off their first-round series. The Thunder lead the Mavericks 3-1 and have a chance to close out the series tonight in Oklahoma.
