Tomboi & Pink Leche

For a special treat of a show, local act Pink Leche will join Jacksonville’s TOMBOi on a bill that is all about that (queer) bass. TOMBOi (pictured) is a three-piece act that takes an electro-dream-pop foundation and piles on psychedelic, experimental and indie R&B. The outfit’s most recent album, 2017’s Spectrum, was “inspired by the social and personal experiences of growing up as queer androgynous women in the south.” SA’s Pink Leche, meanwhile, is no stranger to folks who follow that beat in this town. Making everything from queercore big-bass to intimate bedroom electronica and a whole bunch in between, Pink Leche, the project of Eric Cavazos, is as dynamic as it is mesmerizing. And, in the live setting, Pink Leche’s energy and charisma are truly something to experience.
