Tony Parker Set to Make Season Debut Tonight

No need to be sad much longer, Spurs fans. Point guard Tony Parker will finally be back on the court at the AT&T Center during Monday evening's game against the Dallas Mavericks.

After months of speculation whether the famed Spur would return before 2018, Parker is ready for his season debut. On his Facebook page, he shared on Sunday that he is excited to play again after his recovery time.
His injury came during the Western Conference semifinals last season. In a game in which the Spurs nastily beat the Houston Rockets 121-96, Parker ruptured his left quadriceps tendon. He underwent surgery but still needed time to condition himself back to Spurs status.

He even spent some time with the team's G League affiliate back in September in order to get back on the court without overworking himself. Although he was cleared medically that same month, the Spurs chose to take a careful approach.

The wait may have been long, but we're sure all of San Antonio is happy to have Parker back where he belongs.
