Tre Trattoria's transformation to chic museum restaurant is complete, and some lucky San Antonians got a taste for the new menu this past weekend.
For the rest of us, Tre at the Museum inside the Hops Building is now open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. The restaurant is closed Monday.
The lunch menu features antipasti, salads, meat and cheese plates, cast-iron pizzas, pastas and entrees with prices ranging from $6 to $24. Dinner features later portions of the lunch menu along with shareable sides and additional main course (or secondo) items such as the Tuscan-marinated beef tenderloin ($37), and pork belly with spicy crispy shrimp, tomato fondue, citrus buerre blanc over angel hair pasta ($28). Museum members will save an extra 10 percent.
The space includes indoor seating and a patio overlooking the San Antonio Riverwalk Museum Reach.
