Tucker's Kozy Korner Is Closing for Renovations

You'll have to get your fix of Attaboy burgers and Southern-fried wings, Eastside bar-goers. Tucker's Kozy Korner is taking a breather until further notice.

The storied bar, which was first opened in 1948 and has had a slew of operators, posted a message to its followers on Instagram this afternoon.

we are working on making a better Tucker's Kozy Korner for you, San Antonio. We will be closed until further notice. Thank you.

Chris Cullum, who took over the spot in early 2014, says he and the staff will be handling a deep cleaning of sorts so expect improvements once doors reopen. For now, Cullum suggests heading to Attaboy (the food truck) and Attagirl if the craving hits.

We'll keep you posted on a reopening date.
