Uber has announces that it's now offering San Antonio its Uber Español service, which allows customers to select Spanish-speaking drivers when they're ordering up a ride. The service is available in a handful of cities, including San Diego, Chicago, Los Angeles and Phoenix.
To request a Spanish-speaking driver, users need to enter the code ESPANOLTX in the Promotions tab, select UberX in the vehicle menu, then select the Español option. Sounds more complicated than it really is.
Since it's a new service, Uber is also offering a promo code for a free ride using Uber Español – Use promo code HOLATEXAS and you'll get one free ride (worth $20 or less) with a Spanish-speaking driver.
