When: Tue., Nov. 1, 6 p.m. 2016
Trinity welcomes visual artists Ursula von Rydingsvard and Judy Pfaff for a discussion held in conjunction with the Stieren Arts Enrichment Series. Ursula von Rydingsvard is best known for creating large-scale, often monumental sculpture from cedar beams. In 2014, she received the International Sculpture Center Lifetime Achievement Award with Judy Pfaff. A pioneer of installation art in the 1970s, Pfaff synthesizes sculpture, painting, and architecture into dynamic environments in which space seems to expand and collapse, fluctuating between the two-and three-dimensional.
