The UTSA College of Architecture, Construction and Planning (CACP), in conjunction with AIA San Antonio’s Latinos in Architecture, presents architect Manuel Cervantes Céspedes as part of the CACP’s 2017-18 Speaker Series. Céspedes is founder of Mexico City-based CC Arquitectos, a firm that draws largely upon Mexican modernism and has completed various private residences, commercial properties, and hotels worldwide. In his talk, “Local Tectonic,” he will discuss procedure and strategy as a means to formulate correct relationships with our territory, materiality and labor, and our community.
