Since it falls on Monday, expect to see a lot of cooing and canoodling lovebirds celebrating Valentine’s Day early this year. Among the date nights with sweet SA flavor is Mariachi Campanas de America’s Valentine’s Day Serenata at Our Lady of the Lake, an annual favorite that frequently sells out. Known for an energetic, interactive stage presence and a musical range that encompasses danceable mainstream hits as well as traditional favorites, Mariachi Campanas has been serenading Saytown since 1978. Under the musical direction of Juan Ortiz, a teacher at OLLU’s Music Department (which offers programs in Mariachi Vocal and Mariachi Instrumental), this romantic Sunday night concert aims to pluck the heartstrings with plenty of fanfare. $5-$10 (advance tickets can be purchased from OLLU’s Bookstore), 7pm, Thiry Auditorium, Our Lady of the Lake University, 411 SW 24th, (210) 434-6711,
