Vi//ZiNE, SA’s idiosyncratic DVD zine, celebrates the screening of its seventh issue, premiering Thursday night on the Bottom Bracket Social Club patio. To spread the hype, the Vi//ZiNE boys released a bizarre trailer on the dangers of the subcultural stuff.

If previous issues are any indication, the new reel will feature segments on San Antonio music, street art, skate vids, psychedelic  vignettes and pieces on biking and DIY culture. Inside the BBSC, Vi//ZiNE’s prepared a sweet lineup of music, with the overdriven duo riffs of Lonely Horse, the noisy trip-hop of Wholly Vible and backpack powerhouse emcee Kree23. The first 25 people in the doors can snag a free DVD copy of the issue. After those fortunate few, issue seven is available for $3 and back issues for $2.
