We Leave at Midnight, one of the bonafide San Anto acts on the hometown label Texas Is Funny, just released a new song "Run to the Ocean," a bubblegum appetizer from the upcoming Terror Flora EP. First premiered on Stereogum, the tune comes out swinging, with singer John Dailey and company entering the room with a stentorian attitude and wailing guitar.

After the big arrival, "Run to the Ocean" refuses to sit in a rhythm or style, bouncing between approaches with ADD arrangement. But it's an exciting lack of attention span, like a spastic group of kids in a playground game, changing the rules as they move forward.

Terror Flora is due out in May on Texas Is Funny, one of three efforts we can expect from We Leave at Midnight in 2015.
