Teachers have it rough with misbehaving students and standardized testing, so San Antonio businesses are recognizing all of their hard work with sweet deals as part of Teacher's Appreciation Week.

At Cici's, teachers can score a free buffet (drink not included). If you're good with just one pie, MOD Pizza, a build-your-own pizza chain, will offer 50 percent off a pizza or salad for teachers.

Meanwhile, Chipotle is having a buy one, get one promotion on burritos, bowls, salads and tacos after 3 p.m. Over at Chick-fil-A, teachers can score a free 4-count order of Chick-n-Minis from open until 10:30 a.m. and a free chicken sandwich from 10:30 a.m. to closing.

You can also get your chicken fix at Raising Cane's, which will give away a free Box Combo (four strips, fries, cole slaw, bread and drink) to teachers.

Whataburger is also coming through for teachers on Tuesday and Wednesday. The 18303 I-10 West and 11003 NW Military Hwy. locations will offer a freee Whataburger with the purchase of a medium fries and drink from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday. The 12808 I-10 West and 4502 Fredericksburg Rd. locations will offer the same deal from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

These offers are redeemable with valid ID. Make sure to call ahead to make sure your favorite location is taking part in the promotion.
