Tonight three bars showing their support of No Shave November.

Leon (8123 Broadway),  Stone Oak World of Beer (22810 U.S. 281) and The Hangar Tavern (14532 Brook Hollow) are donating funds and hosting comical mustache contests this month.

Tonight, the Hangar  is hosting the second annual "Shave the Date" party. Computers will be available for guest to register for the awareness campaign from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

After showing proof of membership, guests will receive a free start up kit including a razor, shaving cream and official Movember swag. Guests can choose to shave at the bar or at home.  Additionally, members receive a 50 percent discount on The Hangar family's custom-made Movember T-shirts. The shirts will be available for purchase throughout November, with all proceeds directly benefiting the Movember Foundation. Guests who show their mustache to the bartender receive 10 percent off their bill all month long.

Folks from the Alamo Beard Club and the San Antonio Movember Mustache Dache are said to join the party.

On November 31, the Hangar will host a 10 mustache category competition for men and women. There will be live music and winners of the contest will receive a cash prize.

Tonight, Leon will host its first Movember Kickoff. The bar encourages men to come clean shaven and register to become a Movember member at the bar. At the end of the month Leon will be giving out prizes for the best mustaches.

At Stone Oak World of Beer, limited edition shirts will be on sale for $15 benefiting prostate cancer awareness. The bar will also host a Movember Finalé Beard and Mustache competition on November 30.
