It goes without saying that folks are big fans of the CBD craze sweeping the nation as of late. While full-blown marijuana may not be legalized in Texas for some time, plenty of local businesses are taking advantage of CBD and infusing it into drinks, sweets and more. Here's a (growing) roundup of where you can score these goods.
Located in the Five Points neighborhood, dab prides itself in being the city’s first hemp cafe. Similarly, owners Erika and Gabriel are dedicated to educating the community about the benefits of hemp, while also providing great snacks and treats. From juices and coffee to baked goods, the menu offers hemp-infused products as well as CBD oils.

On top of being the only local coffeeshop on the South Side, Folklores also brings CBD-infused treats. Since its opening, the shop is also home to a CBD counter, though you can always add a shot of CBD to your cup of joe for an extra boost. Trust us, it’s worth it.

Those with a sweet tooth, but who want to enjoy the benefits of CBD and eat healthy may want to get familiar with Plantyful Sweets. The vendor is all about plant-based desserts, which isn’t at all common. On top of protein cookies and gluten-free loaves, you can also score CBD-infused brownies and other sweets. Now that’s a whole new type of “pot brownie.” Expect the flavors of traditional desserts with all the benefits with these sweets.

Brought to you by Chef Leo Davila, Catch the Wave is on the go with a steady lineup of delicious bites. Part of the tasty menu are the CBD-infused, blue corn tortillas. It’s the best of both worlds (we Latinos do love CBD, huh?), as you can munch on street tacos that are that much more special.

On top of organic and farm-to-cup teas, this growing vendor also makes cups with CBD in it. While not every blend features the good stuff, they’re also plenty tasty all on their own.
