Whether you're looking to avoid extra family time or just like to celebrate with friends, there's quite a bit of ways to celebrate Friendsgiving (aka Drinksgiving/Thanksgiving Eve/pre-Thanksgiving). If you want to hit up official parties and events falling on the biggest drinking night of the year, these spots are what you're looking for.

Part Thanksgiving Eve party and part reunion for Midnight Rodeo folks, this bash will include $2, $3 and $4 drink specials before 11 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m., so you have plenty of time to get drink it up.

There will be a lot of partying going on at Industry this week. Xavier the Freakin Rican will be at the club on Wednesday, which will feature ‘80s, ‘90s and ‘00s tunes plus some drink specials. Oh, and there won’t be a cover.

Though not an official Friendsgiving celebration, Cootey’s Tavern will be having its 35th anniversary party this Wednesday. The family-owned bar will have a free food buffet from 5 to 7 p.m. and live music from 7 to 11 p.m. They’ll also be giving out free anniversary koozies to the first 100 folks.

This LGBTQ hotspot will be hosting its third annual Thanksgiving potluck ahead of the holiday. The nightclub’s staff and the regular happy hour customers will gather for a Friendsgiving of sorts.
