Where to Get Boozy and Celebrate St. Patrick's Day in San Antonio

St. Patrick's Day may fall on a Sunday this year, but that isn't stopping us from going out and getting boozy. Honor the drinking holiday by hitting up a bar or two for some green beer and lots of drink specials. Here where you can do just that in San Antonio.

Shenanygans Sports Bar & Lounge

The original Shenanygans on Babcock will be getting into all sorts of shenanigans (sorry not sorry) with loads of drink specials. From noon to 2 a.m., bar-goers can order $1 jello shots, $2 lucky shots, $3.50 car bombs, $3.50 Guinness draft or $4 Jameson. There will also be games, prizes, a photo booth and music from DJ Caliente.

Meanwhile, the Potranco location (8827 TX-151 #106) will have a free photo booth, free giant beer pong, free mechanical bull and lots of food and drink specials all day long from noon to 2 a.m. Tunes will be spun by DJ Black Sheep, DJ Hypnotik and DJ Tony Villarreal throughout the day.

Flying Saucer Draught Emporium

Flying Saucer will be partying the whole weekend in honor of St. Paddy’s Day. On Saturday, score $4 Irish pints, feast on Irish food specials and get down with live music from The Return from 6 to 9 p.m. On Sunday, you can still get $4 Irish pints and food specials, plus $4 Texas drafts and live bagpipes at 4 p.m.

First-come, first-served, y’all.
