Winter Weather Finally Arrives in San Antonio

  • National Weather Service Austin-San Antonio
Get ready for a chilly New Year, winter weather has finally arrived in San Antonio.

The National Weather Service Austin-San Antonio reports temperatures could rise to the upper 50s on Tuesday, with a low 60 possible on Wednesday. But come 2016, expect temperatures in the 40s.

While the winter weather is relatively tame here in South Texas, our northern neighbors suffered through snow and a tornado that ravaged the Dallas-area, killing 11.

The NWS isn't predicting any hazardous weather for Bexar County.
