When: Sat., March 14, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. 2015
The youth of today face many different and in some cases unique challenges. Some of the issues that they are struggling with are: homelessness, abuse, mental illness, neglect, feeling unsafe, sense of self worthlessness, being underprivileged, underserved and disenfranchised. Leaving these matters unresolved and without immediate attention can result in death, drug addiction, human trafficking, underachieving and a waste of millions of tax payers dollars used on incarceration and band aid services. During the summit the community will hear from panelist Dr. Jose Hernandez who has an MD in Child Psychiatrary.
