The Slab Cinema season comes to an end on the day between Halloween and Dia de los Muertos with the silent and sinister 1922 film Nosferatu, with live accompaniment by Mombassa Code. The earliest surviving screen adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula novel, the film has had a long and dangerous life of its own. Almost destroyed by Stoker’s widow because of copyright infringement, it has outlasted many others of the silent era. Donations accepted, 8pm showtime, La Tuna Slab, 100 Probandt, slabcinema.com.
