Gemini Ink’s Dramatic Readers Theater will team up with the Southwest School of Art and Craft for Transparencies, a performance featuring poem, song, and story excerpts. The collaboration will be centered on SSAC’s well-received exhibition Over, Under, Around and Through, featuring the large-works of Linda Hutchins, Tracy Krumm, and Piper Shepard.
The DRT cast will perform within one of the installation pieces on display in the show — adding extra visual and literary interpretations to the existing works of the three artists. Transparencies closes the exhibition after a nearly two-month run. San Antonio’s own songstress Bett Butler will be performing. A reception with the artists follows the performance. Free and open to the public. 3pm, Jan 13, Russell Hill Rogers Gallery, Navarro Campus, Southwest School of Art and Craft, 300 Augusta,
