Release Date: 2008-01-30 The Golden Boys, Austin’s psychedelic-country demigods, are southbound this Friday to promote their new album, Whiskey Flower. Originally formed in Spring Branch, this dirt-rock transplant band has kept audiences buzzing no matter the locale, garnering spots on various “Best of…” lists around the country since its formation five years ago. Whiskey Flower was released this summer to much fanfare, the choice garage album called “one of this year’s best Austin joints” by the Austin American-Statesman. The Boys were most recently featured on the cover of the Austin Chronicle, and embark on a West-Coast tour in February. San Antonio-based Fear Snakeface opens, featuring Sid St. Onge.
