The Botanical Garden will be filled with the sounds of talented musical acts during Gardens by Moonlight, an annual music festival complete with sumptuous culinary treats under the light of the fall moon. Headlining the main stage is crowd favorite Del Castillo (left), demonstrating the cross-cultural power of music with their eclectic blend of flamenco, rock, Latin, blues, and world music. Mingo Fishtrap rocks the amphitheater stage with their booming New Orleans inspired sound, tight arrangements, and clever lyrics, while Ian McLagan & The Bump Band, Rodney Hayden, The Marshall Ford Swing Band, and the Kris Kimura Quartet round out the night’s lineup. Garden guests can wander through the grounds at their leisure, where night-blooming flowers, exotic plants, and sculpture installations abound. Proceeds benefit the San Antonio Botanical Society. $15/20, 7-11pm, Botanical Garden, 555 Funston,.
