Be thankful whenever the indie gods are kind enough to smile down upon us. Since making their name in the blogosphere when good buddies Crystal Castles remixed their song “Crimewave,” Health has been touring the country with non-stop tenacity, playing at small venues, sometimes pro bono. Health’s brand of noisy racket is known to transform small but unconfined spaces like the Warhol into sweaty dance parties. You might even get to hear the Zoothorn, the band’s own invention combining a guitar pedal and a microphone. And Trent Reznor digs them. At the end of the month, they’ll be touring with Nine Inch Nails and fun dance rockers Of Montreal. Following their S.A. debut, the band will head to
Houston, and then leave the state. They’re not even stopping in Austin.
$10, all ages, 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, The Warhol, 1011 Avenue B, (210) 320-9080, thewarhol.com.
