Arts & Eats, San Antonio’s original fall food and wine festival, marks its 14th year this Thursday with delicacies, drinks, and contemporary art on the grounds of the beautiful Tobin Estate. The celebration of the visual and culinary arts adopts a Día de los Muertos theme once again, honoring Viola Barrios and F.L. “Doc” Spellmon with artistic altars by Bernice Williams and Chuck Ramirez. Each year, more than 30 top chefs such as Chef Jason Dady of the Lodge and BIN 555, Chef Damien Vatel of Bistro Vatel, and Chef Rene Fernandez of Azuca showcase their signature culinary delights for more than 1,000 guests. For the art enthusiast, limited-edition prints from Blue Star Print Project artists such as Alex Rubio, Ricardo Legorreta, and James Surls will be available for purchase. The night will also feature a silent auction of unique items and vacation destinations, live music by Henry Brun and the Latin Playerz, and a fine wine and beer tasting. Arts & Eats is Blue Star’s premier fundraiser, with proceeds benefiting the gallery’s exhibitions and neighborhood educational programs. $85 or $150/couple, 7-11pm Thursday, October 30, The Tobin Estate, 3316 Oakwell Court,
