Gemini Ink kicks off Black History Month with San Antonio native Sterling Houston’s play Black and Blue: 400 Years of Struggle and Transcendence. The hour-long snapshot of the African-American odyssey includes excerpts from The Ballad of Henry Box Brown, a play chronicling the true story of a Southern man who mailed himself to freedom in a shipping crate, Dr. Martin Luther King’s writings, classic jazz, and more.
