Monotonix, We The Granada, Sohns, In Beds, & Bison

Release Date: 2009-02-04

Watching a live Monotonix show is a must for anyone who gives a shit about music. The absurdly minimalist Tel-Aviv garage-rockers set up on the floor, and audiences better watch out for far-flung drumsticks, flying beer cans, and spontaneous pyrotechnics that usually involve the drums. Fiery frontman Ami Shalev dumped an entire trash can (filled with fried-chicken remains) on his drummer during last year’s SA show, and the Borat look-alike never missed a beat with a trash can on his head. $8, 8pm, Rock Bottom, 1033 Ave. B. (210) 320-2387.
