There has yet to be a bad concert held on the Artpace rooftop, and this Luminaria kick-off promises to be the most intriguing yet. Joe Jack Talcum of ’80s alternative rock band The Dead Milkmen headlines. Having written a song called “Taco Land” he is sure to get a warm welcome. Krista L.L. Muir and her Fauxvarian alter ego Lederhosen Lucil (a “master of baritone ukulele strumming,” whatever that means) will also perform. Popular local DJ Jester to open.
