UTSA MFA student Carlos Daniel Donjuan breaks new personal ground as his paintings show a balance between the graffiti art of his past and the figurative techniques he’s learned in the gallery world. The paintings show many struggles, with a common theme being the tension between underground and dominant culture. This looks to be a quality show, with several other MFA students showing as well.
