An indie film about car culture, consumerism, and urban sprawl — in other words American life. However, don’t expect Jimmy Stewart niceties. What began as a 15-minute short film expanded into a 50-minute showcase of the wasteful aspects of the American lifestyle. This all sounds pretty dour, but the film looks to provide humor to soften the pill. Plus, Alamo serves quality beer by the pitcher. $5, 7:30pm, Alamo Drafthouse, 1255 SW Loop 410, (210) 677-8500
