The Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center (and, to be honest, Budweiser) presents the 28th Tejano Conjunto Festival, which, if you didn’t know, is a legendary local event. Some might call it the pride of the West Side . People occasionally confuse this event with the annual International Accordion Festival, but don’t look for any klezmer acts here. Recognize this event is puro San Antonio. Look for Conjunto Borrego featuring actor Jesse Borrego Jr. at 5pm and later Mango Saldivar y sus Tremendos Cuatro Espadas who hit the stage at 11pm. $15, 2pm-midnight, Rosedale Park, 340 Dartmouth, guadalupeculturalarts.org for all festival info.
