You’re just in time to honor the tail end of “Dance Celebration Month” with perhaps the least likely of San Anto’s cultural institutions to host the pachanga: the San Antonio Public Library System. (We kid; the SAPL actually does tons of nifty and relevant arts programming). This Saturday at the Collins Garden branch, Kazamba dancers combine Brazilian, African, and Carribbean rhythms into a pan-Carnaval hoedown. Then on Sunday, Bedouin dancers inspire with Gypsy and tribal moves at the Semmes. Sounds pretty great to us, but we hope the librarians have been briefed not to shush anybody. Free and open to the public. Kazamba, 2pm Sat, May 30, 200 N. Park, (210) 225-0331. Bedouin dancers, 2pm Sun, May 31, 15060 Judson Rd., (210) 650-9540, mysapl.org.
