The 12th annual Manhattan Short Film Festival is titled “One World, One Week, One Festival.” During that one week, there will be 532 screenings in 173 cities on five continents, at which viewers vote for their favorite film. The results will be announced in New York on September 29. This year’s festival includes finalists from Sweden, Mozambique, France, Spain, Italy, Australia, Israel, the United Kingdom, and the U.S., with practically every genre represented. The screenings take place at Urban-15, a charming and intimate performance space, making this event an ideal date night for young artists in love.
