We love it when musicians come together for a great cause, and this one has us feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. Organized by Pet Pals of Texas (a non-profit that provides in-home care, food, and veterinary support to the pets of disabled and terminally ill animal lovers), Woofstock is an all-day family-friendly concert, fundraiser, and pet adoption event. A pet parade kicks things off at 11 a.m. (guests are welcome to bring four-legged friends), followed by alternative, folk, blues, and country sets by the Vinyl 45s, the S.A. Blues Cats, Clayton Gardner, the Lavens, the Do Gooders Band, Los Dos Estebans con Queso, the Tim and Bob Show, and Austin-based headliner Sarah Hickman. $15 for adults, $7.50 for those who donate a bag of dog or cat food, $5 for under 18, free for pets, 11am-9pm, Floore’s Country Store, 14492 Old Bandera Rd., Helotes, (210) 695-8827, liveatfloores.com
