After all the visiting scooterati tire of riding around and looking stylish Friday, you can bet your wheels they’ll land at the Friendly Spot for a party that gets our vote for general awesomeness. The ferocious, masked warriors of M.A.L.L. (Mexican American Lucha Libre) will be out in full force (without the metal chairs) for three raucous matches. The spot won’t seem so friendly when Zibot (think Batman) and Comando battle Viagra and Karla Maria (who’s been rumored to dress as a gender-bending Care Bear) or when Senteya and Brindyz (a wolf-like luchador) attack Mata Suegras and Diablito. After the main event, dance to the rockabilly sounds of the In and Outlaws and the surf grooves of King Pelican, and learn from an art-historical exhibition highlighting AmeriVespa’s past, curated by Robert Tatum. $10, 8pm, the Friendly Spot, 943 S. Alamo, thefriendlyspot.com, amerivespa.org.
