Miss Texas Continental

Critic's Pick Release Date: 2010-06-16

“I’m so sorry I’ve been so busy since I saw you last, and haven’t had much time to do anything other than check in and out of hotels and airports. Here’s the info you requested about the pageant I took over five years ago. Miss Texas Continental is open to all female impersonators. Anyone wishing to compete must arrive at Heat (with the $100 entrance fee) no later than 3 p.m. on Thursday. Each contestant will be interviewed at 4 p.m., doors open at 9 p.m., and the actual pageant starts at 11 p.m. with a parade of former winners, featuring Raquel Ross, the reigning Miss Texas Continental. All the girls will compete in evening gown, swimsuit, and talent categories, followed by a Q&A. After reigning Miss Continental, Armani, does a number, the winner will be crowned! She’ll receive a cash prize (as will the 1st and 2nd runners up), airfare, hotel, and entry fee to Chicago’s Miss Continental Pageant ? a title I won in 2004.” xoxo, Erica Andrews. $7 for adults, $10 for minors, 11pm, Heat, 1500 N. Main, (210) 227-2600, heatsa.com.
