Blue Means Go w/ Nada Mas Basura and Viet Ruse

Critic's Pick Release Date: 2010-06-30

The thing about these local tour-launching shows is this: If it’s a band you like, you better be there. God forbid our very own reggae-tinted post-rockers Viet Ruse or ska punks Nada Mas Basura, heading out for their first-ever tour, get a better turnout on one of their stops in New Mexico, California, or Arizona, ’cause they just might decide to relocate there (OK, probably not Arizona). To sweeten the deal, the line-up also includes poppy power trio Blue Means Go, and Say Revenge (aptly described on their MySpace page as “three girls and two boys who like beer, sarcasm, and songs with woahs”), both of whom deserve our support also, even if we aren’t wishing them bon voyage just yet. $5, 9pm, Sat, Jul 3, Limelight, 2708 N. St. Mary’s, (210) 735-7775, — Jeremy Martin
