The Official City of San Antonio 4th of July Celebration (presented by the San Antonio Parks Foundation) Highlights: Salute to the Red, White, & Blue children’s parade (11:30 a.m.), live music all day, including U.S. Air Force Band of the West Top Flight (7:30 p.m.), and an H-E-B fireworks extravaganza at 9 p.m. Free, 10am-9:30pm, Woodlawn Lake Park, 1103 Cincinnati.

July 4th Celebration (Randolph Air Force Base) Highlights: live music by the Psychedelic Jukebox, a water-tag maze, kid-friendly arts and crafts, food vendors, and fireworks at 9:35 p.m. Free, 5-10pm, enter (with a valid picture ID) through the South gate (off of Lower Seguin Rd., or the East gate, off of FM 78, Randolph Air Force Base, Universal City, (210) 652-4410.

4th of July Celebration (New Braunfels) Highlights: paddleboats and mini-golf from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., followed by live music at the Dance Slab, and spectacular fireworks (sponsored by H-E-B) at 9 p.m. Free, Landa Park, 424 S. Castell Ave., New Braunfels, (830) 608-2109.

Lights of Liberty (Six Flags Fiesta Texas) Highlights: thrilling rides, live entertainment, and a fireworks extravaganza at 9 p.m. $36.99, 9pm Saturday & Sunday, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, 1700 I-10 West, (210) 697-5050.

4th of July Celebration (SeaWorld) Highlights: continuous live entertainment starting at 7:30 p.m., optional reserved seating in the Ski Stadium ($25 additional includes complimentary popcorn, water, and a glow-in-the-dark sword) or VIP “Fireworks Extravaganza Picnic” (additional $39.99-$44.99 includes a complimentary blanket, a “fabulous buffet” and lakefront seating, 7-8:30 p.m., reservations required).
