On the fifth anniversary of his death, the life and work of legendary badass Randy “Biscuit” Turner will be celebrated. Singer for Austin’s punk-funk outfit The Big Boys, Turner is also remembered as a “visionary outsider artist.” Among the flag-flying freaks on the roster are: The Jocks, Gay Sportscasters featuring the Lollygaggers (who claim to be “highly closeted heterosexuals accompanied by go-go dancers”), the Texas Biscuit Bombs (a “sing-along punk” band led by Turner’s friend David Ensminger, who authored Visual Vitriol: The Street Art and Subcultures of the Punk and Hardcore Generations), Anarchitex, and all-female post-punk Houstonites Mydolls. On the walls, a collection of vintage punk posters will be shown for the first time in decades. $5, 8pm, Nightrocker Live, 605 San Pedro, (210) 265-3573.
